Operation USA

 

I visited the Operation USA website to familiarize myself with the organization and was actually quite impressed. Right off the bat, we see that their website looks professional and legit, which reassures me that this is an honest organization.  They also provide news updates which shows me that they are very connected to the various communities they are helping as well as keeping the website updated. I love how they have various projects that they are helping instead of one. Makes me believe that no cause is more important than another and that we are willing to help everyone. According to the site Operation USA has helped 99 countries and raised over $300 million since 1979.  It looks like they have been very successful and have been recognize various times for it;  Including winning a noble peace prize, named the "#1 Exclusively Privately Funded Charity", and named one of the "100 best charities in America" by worth magazine. Over all, I am very happy with the organization that we are working with and I am sure that the donations we raise will be getting to those who need help.
